Co-Be Nairobi is an ethical fashion and accessory line established in 2011 with its production based in the Kibera community, with whom they work closely to improve their lives through their work; whilst, utilizing recyclable materials like brass, bone, and wood.
Their founders, Bevern Oguk and Collins Karanja, along with their team offer fashion consultancy and styling services. Their aesthetic is athleisure and is identified with many of their products like the boguk hat, graphic jersey, kimono and samurai jacket.
They’ve worked with several high-profile clients worldwide and like Diana Opoti.
In line with their brand policy to inspire others, they have been moving around schools to mentor and talk to young students that have an interest in becoming designers or joining the fashion industry at large.
